Good Morning! On this day in 1935, canned beer was introduced to the United States when the Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company, delivered 2,000 cans of Krueger’s Finest Beer and Krueger’s Cream Ale to drinkers in Virginia.
In today’s edition, we feature the corpse flower, a rare plant with only about 1,300 specimens worldwide. Known for its odor of decaying flesh, it is currently on display at the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, drawing thousands of visitors who wait up to three hours for this once-a-decade experience or stench.

TAKEOFF,
Trump Orders Release of JFK Files,
President Trump signed an executive order Thursday to declassify remaining files related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The president gave the signing pen to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his nominee for Health and Human Services Secretary and son of the late senator.
According to the National Archives, 97% of the JFK assassination files are currently public. Still, about 3,000 documents had never been made public, and 30,000 had been previously released with redactions.
The actual timeline for full declassification and public access to the remaining documents is uncertain and will depend on the pace of review and redaction removal by relevant agencies.
Judge Blocks Trump Birthright Citizenship Order,
A federal judge in Seattle temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order limiting birthright citizenship on Thursday, calling it “blatantly unconstitutional” in a 25-minute hearing.
Senior U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour, a Reagan appointee, issued a 14-day restraining order in response to a lawsuit from four states—Washington, Arizona, Illinois, and Oregon—that argued Trump’s policy violates the 14th Amendment.
The Justice Department defended the order as part of Trump’s effort to address border issues but promised to “vigorously defend” it as the case likely heads to the Supreme Court.
The United States is one of about 30 countries that grant unconditional birthright citizenship, a policy most common in North and South America.
Fires Still Rage in Southern California,
Drought conditions and strong winds continue to fuel multiple wildfires in Southern California that have killed at least 28 people and burned at least 45 square miles of densely populated areas of Los Angeles County.
New fires emerged on Wednesday and Thursday as two of the largest, the Palisades Fire in Pacific Palisades and the Eaton Fire near Pasadena, remain active. One of the latest, the Hughes Fire in the Castaic area, has prompted evacuations and burned over 10,000 acres.
The Laguna Fire, which broke out Thursday near California State University’s Channel Islands campus in Camarillo, grew from three to 50 acres before firefighters were able to contain it.
Critical fire conditions and red-flag warnings are in effect as Santa Ana winds continue to generate powerful gusts throughout Los Angeles and nearby Ventura counties. Rain is expected this weekend, raising concerns about the potential for mudslides and flooding in areas affected by burn scars.
POLITICS,
The Senate confirmed John Ratcliffe as CIA director Thursday with a bipartisan vote of 74-25, giving President Donald Trump his second approved national security nominee.
Also in confirmation news, Pete Hegseth, President Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary, advanced in a procedural vote 51-49 Thursday, despite Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voting “no.”
Marco Rubio is set to visit Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and other Central American countries on his first overseas trip as Secretary of State, focusing on immigration and Panama Canal control.

And Now, A word From one of Our Sponsors,
Promote your book/ebook on twitter and anything digital. For example, Christian Apps. I can hear all the naysayers say that twitter is a cesspool and you can’t sell anything on twitter. I have been on twitter since August 2012. I am an author and I can tell you this is false. I have sold many, many books that I can track back to twitter. I have 14 thousand 190+ followers on twitter and it all depends on who you follow. My followers are about half political and half writers, authors and readers. Now there are some writers, and especially christian writers say that they don’t feel right selling their books. You mean to tell me that God led you to write the book and all that goes into it and not mean for you to not tell people about it? I just don’t buy it.
I will send your messages either manually or scheduled. Will gain followers daily which could turn into customers. I will boost your traffic and business. I will do my research in order to understand your niche and I will make sure I can help you boost your business.
For more information or to schedule one of these plans send email to Russell Sherrard at russellsherrard@reagan.com

Long Ago, when the Roman Empire was at the height of its glory, a common saying was “All Roads Lead to Rome.” I want to tell you about a very special road — a road that existed then and still exists now. This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road.
This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
