King Charles Invites Trump for Historic Visit.

King Charles III has invited President Trump for an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom, a message hand-delivered by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday.

Trump accepted the invitation, which includes an informal visit to Scotland before planning the full state visit.

The leaders also discussed efforts to broker a peace deal in Ukraine, with Starmer urging Trump to hold Russia accountable. They also addressed a potential U.S.-UK trade deal, with Trump suggesting Britain could be exempt from upcoming tariffs.

Actor Gene Hackman Dead at 95.

Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman, known for classics such as The French Connection, Hoosiers, and Unforgiven, and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead at their home in New Mexico on Wednesday. He was 95.

Hackman and his wife were discovered in separate rooms with signs of decomposition. Authorities said the door to the home was “unsecured and opened” and are calling the scene “suspicious.”

Hackman’s career stretched over five decades of both leading and character actor roles that were defined by his screen presence and versatility as a performer.

Bezos to Send Fiancée and Celebrities to Space.

Blue Origin’s upcoming New Shepard mission will make history as the first all-woman spaceflight, featuring Jeff Bezos’s fiancée Lauren Sánchez, pop star Katy Perry, and journalist Gayle King.

Sánchez, an experienced helicopter pilot, will bring her aviation background to the mission. She’s engaged to Bezos, the founder of Blue Origin.

The fully autonomous spacecraft will launch this spring, carrying the crew past the Kármán line for a 3-4 minute experience of weightlessness during an 11-minute journey before returning to Earth.

Those looking to experience spaceflight themselves must place a $150,000 fully refundable deposit to begin the ticketing process.

The Department of Justice released “phase one” of its Jeffrey Epstein files Thursday, revealing hundreds of his personal contacts, including Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, and Alec Baldwin, but lacking major revelations.

A federal judge on Thursday ruled that the Trump administration, under federal law, had the authority to dismiss career intelligence officers who had temporary jobs working on diversity programs.

Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday directed the Department of Justice to dismiss Biden-era federal civil rights lawsuits that “unjustly” went after fire and police departments.

The Defense Department issued a policy memo Wednesday stating transgender service members will be discharged within 60 days unless granted a waiver, aligning with a President Trump executive order.
