Question: Tell us about things you enjoy — what you do for fun or personal satisfaction?

Answer: I like to swing while listening to iTunes, crochet, and hang out with friends.

Question: What is the “message” of your writing? (For example, is your purpose to encourage old-fashioned values, encourage romance, or do you have different purposes in different books?)

Answer: My message is to share Christ with others, especially kids or teenagers who might be involved in witchcraft or other dangerous things.

Question: Tell us one place you want to visit, or person you want to meet, and why.

Answer: I would like to visit Japan and Ireland one day. I would love to meet Freddie Highmore because I’ve watched him in movies since he was like four years old.

Question: Share something that makes you laugh, with just plain humor, or happiness, or because it’s so stupid.

Answer: I have a friend who makes me laugh no matter what he does. He’s just funny.

Question: What’s your next project? Tell us so we can’t wait for it to come out!

Answer: My next release is the sequel to “Cat Tales and Whiskers.” I’m not sure what the title is yet, but it’s pretty much written. This book has all the same characters again, but this time, I’m tackling another touchy subject: abortion.

Question: What is your current WIP?

Answer: I’m currently writing a fantasy about giant foxes who serve as guardians to humans. I’m having a lot of fun with this one.

Question: How many books do you have out?

Answer: Just one so far, but two in the works.

Question: Are there characters/stories/scenes/etc based on anything in real life?

Answer: In “Cat Tales and Whiskers,” the youth pastors are based on my actual youth pastors. Ash is sort of my own personality, but the male side of me…well, if I had a male side. In the sequel, I named a character after one of my best friends. Her name is Vittoria.

Also, we recently took a trip to Pine Mountain, and the forests that we saw while we were there are part of the inspiration for my new fox story.

Question: What is your favorite book/character?

Answer: Because of my dyslexia, reading is not something I really enjoy. But I have to do it for school. I do enjoy reading Manga though, and one of my favorites is “Black Butler.” And my favorite character from that book is Ciel. You might recognize that his name is much like my pen-name. That’s not a coincidence.

Question: What is your writing style?

Answer: I don’t really have a particular style. I just write whatever is on my mind at the time, and then I let my mom and her editor work their magic.
