Question: What do you think prepared you or qualifies you to write in your chosen genre?

Answer: I think the fact that I grew up in church my whole life and have had quite a few different pastors and teachers over the years has helped prepare me to write the Bible studies that I write today.

Question: Tell us about things you enjoy — what you do for fun or personal satisfaction?

Answer: As you probably guessed I love studying the Bible and sharing it with others. I also like to cook and create new dishes. I enjoy interior decorating and doing crafts from time to time.

Question: Tell us about working with any people who help you create your books — Do you use Beta readers? Hire an editor or proofreader? How do you get your covers?

Answer: I have worked with several editors, but the one I have worked with the most is Lisa Lickel. Lisa has been a blessing to me. She has helped me to grow in my writing through her editing, suggestions, and encouragement.

Question: Tell us about your newest book. Make us want to read it.

Answer: The Book of 2 Thessalonians: Paul’s Second Letter to the Thessalonians is my newest release. This is one of the Apostle Paul’s letters. It’s from the New Testament. I’ve done a whole series of Paul’s letters. In The Book of 2 Thessalonians Paul encourages the Thessalonians to glorify the Lord, to stand fast in their faith, and not to grow weary in well doing. He also talks about the Second Coming of the Lord. All of Paul’s letters are to encourage the people and to help them live the best life they can for Christ.

Question: What is the “message” of your writing? (For example, is your purpose to encourage old-fashioned values, encourage romance, or do you have different purposes in different books?)

Answer: The goal of my ministry is to share God’s Word with the world. Through doing so, I hope to help people develop a close, personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Question: Tell us one place you want to visit, or person you want to meet, and why.

Answer: I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, but haven’t made it there yet.

Question: What’s your next project? Tell us so we can’t wait for it to come out!

Answer: The Book of Nehemiah will be my next book to publish.

Question: What is your current WIP?

Answer: I am working on The Book of 1 Samuel on my blog right now. That is where I begin my books.

Question: How many books do you have out?

Answer: I have written and published twenty-two books. Twenty-one of them are in the Daily Bible Reading Series and one book about self-publishing called Self-Publishing Simplified: How to Publish a Book on Kindle.
