There’s safety in numbers. Parents wisely instruct their children to stay at their side when in crowded areas like shopping malls. Husbands take their wives by the hand when rushing through high crime districts. Going alone goes against common sense. Pairing works not only for socks, shoes or gloves. Jesus paired disciples for the spread of the gospel.

“And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits; and He instructed them that they were to take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belt— but to wear sandals; and He added, ‘Do not wear two tunics (Mark 6:7-9 NASB).”

There’s not only safety in numbers but also companionship and doubled influence.

Paired, the disciples fulfilled the Master’s purpose.

“And He said to them, ‘Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave town. Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet as a testimony against them.’ And they went out and preached that people are to repent. And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them (Mark 6:10-13 NASB).”

There’s power in numbers!

Long Ago, when the Roman Empire was at the height of its glory, a common saying was “All Roads Lead to Rome.” I want to tell you about a very special road — a road that existed then and still exists now. This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road.
This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
