Once upon a time and long before I was born…there was a ‘shot heard round the world.’ The famous phrase is credited to Ralph Waldo Emerson and taken from his ‘Concord Hymn’ poem.

The 1775 gunshot ushered in the impending Revolutionary War between America and England.

Though historic and significant the shot does not compare with the SHOUT to be heard round the world soon.

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 HCSB).”

Believers may face opposition and persecution for our faith but we shouldn’t fear.

“Therefore, don’t be afraid of them, since there is nothing covered that won’t be uncovered and nothing hidden that won’t be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper, proclaim on the housetops (Matthew 10:26-27 HCSB).

Yes, shout it from the rooftops.

Shout Hosanna!

“Then the crowds who went ahead of Him and those who followed kept shouting:

Hosanna to the Son of David!
He who comes in the name
of the Lord is the blessed One!
Hosanna in the highest heaven (Matthew 21:9 HCSB).”

This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road. This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
