US, China Reach Trade Deal for Rare Earths.

President Trump announced the U.S. and China reached a trade deal framework on Wednesday, ensuring full U.S. access to rare earth materials and magnets, critical for technology, while allowing Chinese student visas.

Negotiated in London after a Trump-Xi Jinping call, the deal includes 55% U.S. tariffs and 10% for China, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick optimistic about final approval.

Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson Dies at 82.

Brian Wilson, the visionary co-founder of The Beach Boys whose melodic genius crafted iconic hits like Good Vibrations and the groundbreaking album Pet Sounds, has died at 82, his family announced.

Wilson led the band to global fame in the 1960s, earning a 1988 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. He was under a court conservatorship since May 2024 due to a major neurocognitive disorder.
