TAKEOFF.
Wess Roley ID’d as Idaho Firefighter Sniper.
Authorities identified 20-year-old Wess Roley as the sniper who ambushed firefighters Sunday in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, killing two and injuring a third.
Roley allegedly set a wildfire on Canfield Mountain to lure responders before opening fire with a high-powered rifle. Chilling 911 audio captured a pinned-down firefighter pleading for help.
Roley’s body was later found near the scene with a firearm; officials say it’s unclear whether he died by suicide or police fire.
His grandfather said Roley had aspired to be a firefighter, though court records show a troubled family history. Investigators continue to search for a motive as Idaho mourns its fallen responders.
Fed Chair Under Fire for False Claims.

Senators Tim Scott and Cynthia Lummis called his testimony misleading and embarrassing, with some demanding Senate censure.
The renovation project, which began in 2021, is ongoing and expected to be completed in several years.
