TAKEOFF.
Historic Flooding Threatens Heartland.
A sprawling, slow-moving storm system is threatening to unleash dangerous flooding across the central U.S. starting today, with up to 18 inches of rain possible in some areas.
Fueled by tropical moisture from the Caribbean, the system could dump four months’ worth of rain in less than a week.
Flash flood watches cover more than 22 million people, and major rivers like the Ohio and Mississippi face the risk of significant surges.
Meanwhile, severe storms and tornadoes are expected Tuesday and Wednesday from Texas to the Midwest, with heavy snow in northern Minnesota adding to the storm’s punch.
Israel Plans to Reoccupy 25% of Gaza.
Israel plans to reoccupy 25% of Gaza over the next two to three weeks as part of a renewed ground campaign aimed at forcing Hamas to release hostages, an official said Monday.
The renewed ground operation follows a breakdown in cease-fire talks and has already triggered new evacuations, including in Rafah.
If no new deal is reached, officials say the operation could expand further, potentially displacing most of Gaza’s 2 million residents.
Israel is demanding the release of 11 living hostages and the remains of 16 others, rejecting Hamas’ latest counteroffer.
Forbes Unveils 2025 Billionaires List.
Forbes released its annual World’s Billionaires list Tuesday, featuring a record 3,028 people and 288 newcomers—more than ever—including household names like Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The richest new entrant is Marilyn Simons, widow of hedge fund legend Jim Simons, with an estimated net worth of $31 billion. Not far behind is Lyndal Stephens Greth, daughter of late oil tycoon Autry Stephens, at $25.8 billion.
The U.S. led the pack with 103 new billionaires, followed by Germany, China, India, and Russia. Nearly 70% of the newcomers are self-made, many from tech, crypto, and AI—including Anthropic cofounder Dario Amodei and Scale AI’s Alexandr Wang.
Bruce Springsteen hit $1.2 billion after selling his music catalog, while Seinfeld and Schwarzenegger each landed around $1.1 billion thanks to Netflix, syndication, and smart investing.
POLITICS.
Susan Crawford was projected the winner in Tuesday’s Wisconsin Supreme court race, keeping the court’s liberal majority intact. It was the most expensive judicial race of all time.
Republicans Randy Fine and Jimmy Patronis won special elections Tuesday in Florida’s 6th and 1st Congressional Districts, respectively. Fine fended off a strong challenge from Democrat Josh Weil in his predominantly Republican district, while Patronis held his seat despite being heavily outspent by Democrat Gay Valimont.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) gave a 25-hour, 5-minute-long speech denouncing the Trump administration, starting Monday evening and ending Tuesday night, setting a new Senate record for the longest floor speech.
Filmmaker Oliver Stone testified before Congress Tuesday on newly declassified JFK assassination documents, decades after the release of his 1991 film JFK.

Go to https:// payhip.com/ Christian NonFiction eBookStore then scroll down and click on Interactive Romans Road King James Version
Long Ago, when the Roman Empire was at the height of its glory, a common saying was “All Roads Lead to Rome.” I want to tell you about a very special road — a road that existed then and still exists now. This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road.
This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
